Unidentified object mystery solved

In previous post I asked about unknown object on one of the latest APOD images. I thought it could be a supernova. But it appears to be a simple image processing error. Mystery solved!

    Well, if it not a time-space continuum crack, then I’d say it is piece of dust that was on photo plate during digital scanning, See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digitized_Sky_Survey on how DSS2 was made.
